Black Forest Academy Visit

button BFABlack Forest Academy, a German school and one of the oldest Christian schools in Europe for expat students, visited our school on last December 4, 2012 to discuss a cooperation of both institutions in the education field.

BFA is boarding and traditional school that uses an American-based AP (Advanced Placement) curriculum and is accredited by ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Dr. Janet Nason, the CEO Advisor of IPEKA schools met the current superintendent of BFA, Mr. Scott Jones in Kandern, Germany this year and invited him to visit us in Jakarta. He came along with Miss Debbie Dower, the head of the Discovery Center there, and Miss Haesook Lee, the Asia Director of TeachBeyond, an organiation that sponsors BFA and helps to provide expat teachers to international schools. We trust that TeachBeyond will be able to send us teachers in the future

Mr. Jones has invited Pak Petroes, CEO of IPEKA schools, and other IPEKA leaders to visit their school in the southern Black Forest in the future.

As an international school, we are looking forward and working to build relationships with like-minded Christian schools around the globe.
