A recent study conducted by Chapman University on what Americans fear most shows that their top fear is public speaking. But, that’s not the case with our very own Grade 4 students during a week of stories called Closer Look from 23 to 27 of February 2015.
During the Closer Look, parents were also invited to witness their own children being the storytellers at the multimedia room of IPEKA Integrated Christian School Elementary.
It was a week full of children’s creativity which was reflected in their acting abilities, costumes, props, voice projection, pacing, and even on choosing the genre of the story.
The children had chosen or written their own story because it is best to tell story which they are interested in.
It was also a venue for the student to take the center stage while the teacher took the backseat and parent involvement was very vivid in their costumes and props.
Praise the Lord for He has blessed this event throughout the week and it was an experience that everybody became the recipient of God’s grace by acknowledging their weaknesses and trusting the Lord fully.
“And he said unto me, ‘My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.â€Â
