On Monday, 23 May 2016, IICS Senior High held a talk show program in our Grand Chapel. The theme of the talk show is “Menjadi Manusia Indonesia” and we invited two guest speakers. One of them is the famous Chinese-Indonesian stand-up comic, writer, actor and producer, Ernest Prakasa, and the other guest is Cameo Project, a group of young youtubers who frequently uploads videos that  feature nationalism.

On Tuesday, 24 May 2016, IICS year 11 students went to Museum Hakka Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. In that museum, we were able to examine the history of the immigration of the Chinese people to Indonesia and also features of Chinese-Indonesian culture. The goal of these two programs is to help students understand more about the history of Chinese-Indonesians and to develop a sense of nationalism. By God’s grace, both programs went smoothly.
