Jody Capehart, an education expert from the U.S. said that nowadays it is even harder to love and discipline children. They have different personalities and learning styles. However, these personalities and learning styles are gifts from God. Jody Capehart said that through Cherishing & Challenging Your Children seminar, organized by IPEKA Christian School on July 23, 2012 at IICS (IPEKA INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL).
Jody Capehart is an educator with more than 40 years of experience. During the seminar, she shared two categories of personality that are also applicable to children, i.e. extrovert (Doer or choleric, and Inspiring or sanguine) and introvert (Steady or phlegmatic, and Conscientious or melancholy). She also explained that children can learn by what they see, hear, touch, taste, and smell.
It is expected that through the seminar, parents and teachers would gain knowledge and practical input. Parents and teachers have a great opportunity to enrich the lives of children through physical, emotional, mental and spiritual, as well as to create an atmosphere for learning toward the maximum potential of them.
