IICS Students Visit Sekolah Yerikho Bekasi

IPEKA International Christian School (IICS) students were on fire to attend and support a recent activity, which could be seen from the number of students who signed their names on the registration form. What event was it? It was a visit to a foster school.

Some of our IICS teachers and students visited Sekolah Yerikho Kindergarten and Elementary in Bekasi on 19 March 2014 to donate some tems for their daily needs for the children there.

The students in Sekolah Yerikho had been waiting with a lot of enthusiasm for the students from IICS to come and visit them. After IICS students arrived, a talent show, music performances and games were presented by both schools.

Sekolah Yerikho’s students felt blessed by the students from IICS being there, just like brothers and sisters.

Rev. Lasma, who leads Sekolah Bekasi, gave a speech to welcome IPEKA International Christian School students and teachers.

IICS students hoped that their visit would bless the students in Sekolah Yerikho, as many of them are needy children. May this one simple act inspire other people to do just the same—to help others through prayer or by giving material donations.

May those students in Sekolah Yerikho Kindergarten and Elementary also be lifelong learners.
