IICS Junior High School Achievement in WRO

World Robot Olympiad 2014It surely has been a precious thing for IICS, especially its Junior High teachers on National Teachers Day of Indonesia on November 25 upon receiving the news that one of its students made an achievement in 11th World Robot Olympiad (WRO).

It was Natasha Emanuelle Utama who represented IICS Junior High in that international event in Sochi, Russia on 21 – 23 November 2014.

Along with her teammate and thanks to their robot called Rocket Launcher, Natasha won in this event for the Elementary category during this competition, where the participants for that category had to build a robot with a concept of a rocket.

Previously, IICS Junior High also performed well in Indonesian Robotics Olympiad (IRO), which was represented by Brian Putra on September 5 – 6, 2014 in Jakarta who gained silver medal, and enabled the IICS Junior High team to participate WRO which was represented by Natasha.

This olympiad was a good opportunity for students from many countries like Japan, Korea, USA, as well as other countries to hone and develop their skills or creativity in science and technology, especially in the robotics field.

Congratulations for Natasha and IICS Junior High team and teachers. Keep up the good work and never forgetting God in your studying and planning.
