“So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’â€Â―Hebrews 13:6
IICS Kindergarten had just conducted Vacational Bible School (VBS) on last February 25 – March 1, 2013. The theme for this year is Colossal Coaster World with Facing Fear, Trusting God as the motto.
The students got the opportunity to learn from one amazing character from the Bible, Paul. They learned how Paul was dare to change, dare to speak up, dare to believe, dare to stand strong, and dare to believe in God.
During those 5 days, students from Nursery to K5 learned in different ways. We have five classes that we called as stations: Bible Study at the Coaster Alley; Snack at the Cotton Candy Café; Art and Craft at Scissors and Stuff Emporium; Music and Mission at the Tune Town; and Recreation at the Adrenaline Zone. The teachers have worked hard to decorate the classes, and students moved from class to class to experience new learning atmosphere.
On the last day of VBS, March 1, 2013, we had parents’ night service as the closing ceremony. The parents listened to the great sermon by Rev. Pieters Pin, M.Div. The chapel was decorated beautifully by some parents who committed to be the decorating team. The students, parents, and teachers were so blessed with this event. To God be the glory!ÂÂ
