IPEKA INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL THEATER PERFORMANCE THE DREAM INTERPRETER

Hard work and good motivation are essential keys to success. IPEKA INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (IICS) junior and senior high students had such commitment for their theater performance entitled The Dream Interpreter. The commitment and hard work paid off. The performance successfully entertained the audience at Jakarta Art Building (Gedung Kesenian Jakarta) on February 25, 2012.

The show was opened with an opening prayer by the IICS Academic Principal, Mr. Joseph McGrath. The story of The Dream Interpreter itself is adapted from the life of Joseph (Genesis 37-45), but the storyline is a little bit switched into nowadays events and circumstances with a female protagonist named Yosefina. The show involves as much as 23 actors and actresses, 11 musicians, and 29 choral singers. The trainers for the drama, choir, and music were all IICS teachers. The writer for the adapted story is also a teacher of IICS, Mr. Djoharli Samsudin.

Hopefully this theater performance could encourage other students to give their best for the Lord, whether through theater performance like The Dream Interpreter or other positive activities with the talents that God has entrusted to them.
