The families of all IICS Elementary students enjoyed their Christmas celebration this last week on the 4th and 5th of December!
Parents came to see their children perform various songs and a cast of students presenting Christmas in Egypt. The story took place at the time when Joseph and Mary fled from Herod’s attempt to kill the new baby Jesus. As those in Egypt learned the story of Christ, they either sought to destroy Him, as Pharaoh; or as others, to joyfully worship. Our response to Jesus is also just as clear, whether we seek to destroy Him with our silence or proclaim Him with our testimony.
This year’s theme was The Greatest Joy. Rev. William Ho delivered a message encouraging the listeners that a strong family is one that keeps Christ at the center. Rev. William Ho also encouraged the congregation to open their hearts to receive the greatest joy by receiving Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Finally, IICS family would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year 2014. God bless you.
