Year 10 Student Orientation Program

balon udara miniThe Senior High IICS welcomes the new class of 2016 on last 15-17 July 2014.

On the first day of the school, the new Year 10s were welcomed by Mr. Moses for a devotion session. They continued to be introduced to their PCTs and some of the Senior High staff. The day continued to be filled with fun activities organized by the Senior High Student Council across the campus. The climax of the day was when the highly enthusiast students wrote their bad habit(s) on a piece of a note. The note was then inserted into a balloon which the students released to the air after saying their prayer.

On the second day, the highly energetic students joined a two-day leadership camp in Aquarius Orange Resort, Cisarua. The group of 79 students and 6 teachers left the school at 7:30. After two-hour fun-wiggling time in the bus, they arrived and were welcomed with a devotion session led by Mr. Arnell. The day continued with more fun-loving games and was closed with a bon fire session until 9:30 PM.

The objective of this short orientation program was to shape the student’s character to get ready for the Senior High. The theme this year originated from Proverbs 17:17 (A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity). By taking this theme, the committee hoped that the new students will be able to blend well with the students from IICS.
